INITIATIVE TRANSPARENT CIVIL SOCIETY

There are no uniform publication requirements for non-profit organisations in Germany. Those who work for the common good should nevertheless tell the community what exactly the organisation's goals are, where the funds come from, how they are used and who the decision-makers are. The "Initiative Transparente Zivilgesellschaft" (Transparent Civil Society Initiative) has therefore defined ten basic points of information that every civil society organisation, regardless of its legal form, size or area of activity, should make available to the public.

The "Transparent Civil Society Initiative" is supported by a group of supporters consisting of:

  • Transparency International Deutschland e.V.
  • Federal Association of German Foundations
  • German Central Institute for Social Issues (DZI)
  • German Fundraising Association
  • German Donations Council e.V.
  • German Cultural Council
  • German Nature Conservation Ring
  • Maecenata Institute
  • Association of German Development Non-Governmental Organisations VENRO

Aktion Canchanabury has joined the Transparent Civil Society Initiative and has thus committed itself to making the following information available on the website:
